When your vehicles stop, your business stops. We keep fleets compliant, serviced and on the road — working around your schedule, not ours.
No fleet account, no minimum job size. Whether it's the family car or a one-off repair, you get trade-qualified work and a straight answer on what it needs.
Your vehicle is your livelihood. Utes, trailers, plant and equipment — repaired, serviced and fabricated by people who understand what a day off the tools costs.
Logbook servicing, diagnostics, repairs and roadside breakdowns — mobile, for fleet and private clients.
On-the-spot hose repair and replacement, MDG41 compliant, tagged and logged to your machine.
Structural repairs, custom fabrication and emergency onsite welding for industrial and civil clients.
Properly licensed and properly stocked — not someone with a toolbox in the back of a ute.
Trade qualified professionals, and licensing across all of our group divisions.
Straight answers when you need them, and transparent upfront pricing estimates before we do the job.
A fully equipped Rathmines workshop, plus service units that come to your depot, site or roadside for heavy vehicle and hydraulic work.
We offer responsive breakdown support across all trades and divisions to help keep you, or your business moving.
Logbook servicing, diagnostics, brake and clutch work and full mechanical repairs — workshop-based for light vehicles, with mobile service for heavy vehicle and plant work.
Scheduled servicing and maintenance programs that keep commercial fleets on the road and out of the workshop.
Roadside and onsite breakdown assistance for heavy vehicles and plant during business hours.
We show up when we say we will, we do what we say, and we stand behind our work.
We understand fleet management, site logistics and the real cost of downtime.
From pricing estimates to the work that actually needs to be done, you'll get clear insights all the way through.
Locally owned and operated from our Rathmines base, invested in the community we serve.
Tell us what's broken down or what you need serviced — simply choose the division for the service you need, and call to connect with us.
We confirm the job, the timing and a clear, upfront price — no surprises.
Depending on whether you have a light vehicle, heavy vehicle/fleet, or plant equipment for us to service, we'll either come to you or arrange drop off at our workshop facility.
Job done, tagged and logged where needed. We'll get you back up and running when you need it the most.
Construction sites run on equipment and vehicles — and every idle hour carries a cost. Our mechanical, hydraulic and welding teams keep plant and fleet moving across the region, from excavator hose failures to structural weld repairs.
The Hunter region’s mining and resources sector demands some of the most intensive equipment servicing anywhere. We’re equipped to service mining vehicles, plant and infrastructure — hydraulics, mechanical repairs, and welding and fabrication.
Fleet operators across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie rely on us for ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs. Whether it’s a logbook service, a blown hose or a fleet of work vehicles, our mobile teams come to your depot and cut downtime.
Agricultural equipment works hard and tends to break down in inconvenient places. Our mobile units reach rural and semi-rural properties across the region for hydraulic, welding and mechanical work on tractors and farm machinery.
Industrial facilities — power stations, plants and processing operations — need responsive, professional trade services. We work to site safety and permit-to-work systems, with the precision industrial maintenance demands, from our Rathmines base.
Local government, council and public works fleets require reliable, compliant trade services with clear documentation. The OMR Group is properly licensed and equipped to service council vehicles, plant and infrastructure across the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region.
The OMR Group covers three specialist trades: mechanical repairs (Onsite Mechanical Repairs), hydraulic hose repair and replacements (Onsite Hydraulic Hose Repairs), and welding and fabrication (Onsite Welding Repairs). Each business operates independently but shares the same Rathmines base and group standards.
Yes, for heavy vehicle and plant related enquiries. Our fully equipped mobile service units come directly to your location, whether you’re at a depot, construction site, roadside, or rural property.
We assess the issue on-site and, wherever possible, complete the repair without the need to tow your vehicle to our workshop. For scheduled servicing and maintenance, our technicians arrive with the equipment, tools and parts needed to carry out the work efficiently at your location.
Depending on the job, there are some light-vehicle enquiries that we exclusively handle in our workshop. Reach out to us to find out more.
Not for every vehicle type. Our mobile service covers heavy vehicles, trailers, mobile plant and hydraulic hose work — the equipment that’s difficult, costly or impractical to move.
Light vehicle servicing and repairs are carried out at our Rathmines workshop, where we have the full range of equipment, diagnostic tools and hoists needed to do the job properly. That includes logbook servicing, pink and blue slips, pre-purchase inspections and general repairs.
If you’re not sure which applies to your vehicle, give us a call and we’ll point you in the right direction.
After-hours callouts are available for hydraulic hose and welding work. If a hose blows or you need a weld repair outside business hours, call us and we’ll do everything we can to get someone to you.
Mechanical repairs are handled during business hours. During those hours, we can also provide priority callouts for heavy vehicles, trailers and mobile plant.
All callouts are subject to technician availability and our current workload, since our team may already be responding to another urgent job. We’ll always give you a straight answer on whether we can attend and when.
No.
While fleet maintenance and commercial vehicles are a significant part of what we do, we proudly service everyone—from individual vehicle owners to businesses with large fleets.
Whether you’re a tradie with a single ute, a mum or dad needing the family car serviced, a small business with a few vehicles, or a company managing an entire fleet, we’re here to help.
No job is too big or too small. We provide the same honest advice, quality workmanship and reliable service to every customer, regardless of how many vehicles you own.
We’re proudly based in Rathmines, NSW, and provide mobile mechanical, hydraulic hose and welding services throughout Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland, the Hunter Region, the Central Coast, and surrounding areas.
Our mobile service vehicles are equipped to travel across a wide service area, and we can often attend locations outside these regions on a case-by-case basis. If you’re unsure whether we service your area, simply get in touch with our team—we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements.
Please note that additional travel charges may apply for jobs outside our standard service area.
